Privacy Policy

Cutlist is a woodworking planning application. This policy explains the information Cutlist processes when you use the website or app, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information: your email address, account identifier, authentication records, and password-reset activity. Cutlist does not receive your password in readable form.
- Project information: cabinet specifications, parts, materials, saw settings, cut plans, project names, and shared-plan links that you create.
- Purchase information: store or payment-provider customer and transaction identifiers, product purchased, purchase status, refund status, and Pro entitlement status. Cutlist does not store complete payment-card details.
- Technical information: hosting, authentication, app-store, and payment providers may process device, browser, IP address, diagnostics, fraud-prevention, and request-log information when providing their services.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, save and synchronize projects, generate and share plans, provide purchased features, restore purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot the service, communicate service-related notices, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
Cutlist relies on service providers that process information on its behalf or as independent payment platforms, including Supabase for authentication and cloud data, Cloudflare for website delivery, Stripe for web payments, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, and Apple or Google for mobile app distribution and in-app purchases. Their handling of information is also governed by their respective privacy terms.
Sharing
Cutlist does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the service, when you intentionally create a shared-plan link, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
Retention and deletion
Account and cloud project information is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from the account panel inside the app. Deletion removes the Cutlist account and associated cloud projects and shared plans. Local project copies associated with that account are removed from the device initiating deletion. Payment platforms may retain transaction records when required for financial, fraud-prevention, tax, dispute, or legal purposes.
Security
Cutlist uses access controls, encrypted network connections, row-level database policies, and restricted server credentials intended to protect account and project information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may use the free local experience where offered, choose whether to create an account, export project information, stop sharing plans, restore eligible store purchases, or delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, export, object to, or restrict certain processing.
Children
Cutlist is not directed to children under 13, and Cutlist does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
